The extension requires specific Chrome APIs and browser permissions solely to deliver these features. These permissions support the intended functionality and are not used for data collection or user tracking.

Data Collection and Usage

Let's Connect does not collect or store personal data, sensitive information, login credentials, or browsing history. All operations occur locally within your browser, except when requesting AI-generated responses. In such cases, only the relevant message text is transmitted securely to the OpenAI API to generate contextual replies. No identifying information is included, and data is not retained after the response is delivered.

Clipboard Access

The extension may request temporary clipboard access to enable one-click copy and paste functions. This access is limited to allowing users to insert or copy replies and does not result in data being stored, transmitted, or shared beyond this specific function.

Context Menu Integration

Let's Connect integrates with the browser context menu to provide quick access to features such as inserting replies or saving contacts. This integration is restricted to supported websites and serves no tracking or advertising purpose.

Storage of User Preferences

Information stored by the extension, including favorite contacts or selected templates, remains within the browser using Chrome's storage system. This data is not uploaded or shared externally and exists solely to maintain user settings between sessions.

Use of Remote Services

To ensure quality suggestions, Let's Connect interacts with external services, including OpenAI's API and hosted content sources for templates. These requests occur over encrypted connections and include only necessary data such as selected message content. No personal information or identifiable metadata is transmitted or stored on remote servers.

Host Permissions

The extension requires permission to access specific webpages to identify content areas where suggestions or UI elements should appear. This access is limited in scope and is not used to monitor user activity. Let's Connect does not collect URLs, session information, or content unrelated to its functionality.

Data Security and Compliance

Let's Connect adheres to Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. All data transmissions occur over HTTPS without third-party analytics or tracking libraries. The extension does not participate in advertising networks, and user behavior is not tracked for profiling or marketing purposes.

User Control

Users may uninstall the extension at any time through standard Chrome extension settings. Stored preferences can be cleared through Chrome's extension data settings. Since the extension does not store external data, uninstallation completely removes its presence from the browser.
